Settlement Services

As a primary settlement agency serving Stratford, Perth County, Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, YMCA of Three Rivers - Immigrant Services acts as a “first stop” for newcomers. Through the YMCA Library Settlement Partnerships(LSP), our Settlement Workers continue to support newcomer and immigrant needs. Our Settlement Workers can provide support with citizenship, housing, education, English language assessments, connecting with community resources, and much more. Through our collaboration with West Perth Public Library, together we are working to foster a smooth transition into the Perth County Community.

Services Offered

  • On the 4th Wednesday of every month, a Settlement Worker will be at West Perth Public Library from 1-4pm. They will provide assistance with paperwork related to immigration and refugee status, citizenship, housing and community services, education and ESL assessments, and more to individuals and families new to Canada.
