Mitchell Legion Band Concert

All ages, drop-in

Join us for an evening of music, under the open sky as the Legion Band performs a selection of pieces sure to entertain all ages. Bring a chair or blanket, relax, and enjoy the sounds of your local band.

Folk Music from the
60s, 70s and 80s

Adults, drop-in

Enjoy the folk music of the 60s, 70s and 80s and the vocal stylings of Michael Free.

A Parents' Guide to T(w)een Safety Online

Adults, 14+ teens - registration

This program is ideal for parents of tweens and teens. Older teens are also welcome to attend. OPP officers will conduct this information session, sharing safety guidelines and tips for keeping your children safe online.

When: 6pm on Thursday, June 11

Where: West Perth Public Library, Program Room

Registration is required! Please register on Rec Desk starting May 1.

Senior Fitness

Canadian Centre of Activity and Aging-trained instructors will lead safe and effective exercise classes for older adults in our community. In collaboration with Mitchell and Area Community Outreach and the Municipality of West Perth.

When: 9:30am on Tuesdays 

• March 24 until May 26
• restarts September 15

Where: West Perth Community Centre

What to bring: Running shoes, water bottle; first-timers will need to fill out a form upon arrival

Senior Book Chat

Open to adults 55+, drop-in

Local seniors are encouraged to meet at the Ritz Manor Community Room. Participants and library program staff will share lively discussion about recent books and enjoy social time.

When: 11am - noon on the following Mondays:

Crafters' Circle

Crafters' Circle is a program for adults and teens. The group will meet at the Library to work on personal crafting projects and create community connections. It's a great way for people who are new to the community or for anyone who is feeling isolated to connect with others.

When: Tuesdays from 2-3PM NEW TIME!
