Read to the Animals

All ages

Meet at the barn for a story and then get up close and personal with the animals of the Mitchell Lions Park

When: 11am on the following Saturdays:

All groups must include an adult caregiver

Mad Science

Ages 4-12 plus caregiver

A fascinating science show that will entertain both children and parents alike. See amazing chemical reactions, fantastic forces and more. Sponsored by the Optimist Club of Mitchell.

Vanilla Extract Workshop


Kayla of Oats & Honey Homestead will explain the history of the vanilla bean and will show you how to extract vanilla. Take home a small bottle.

Stuffy Sleepover

Ages up to 6 and caregiver

Bring a stuffy (not your favourite) to enjoy stories, rhymes and songs. Say goodbye to your stuffy and they'll spend the night at the library! Stuffy pick up is after 2pm the next day.
