Homicide, Forensics & Crime Analysis

Join the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) for an inside look at homicide investigations, forensic evidence and the role of crime analysis in solving cases. Part of the PC Reads program.

When: 2-3pm on Tuesday, October 6

Be Dragon Ready -
Fire Safety at the Library

All ages - adults must stay with children

Dragons all like to start fires, so all need to be Dragon Ready!

Join the West Perth Fire Department and Library staff for an exciting event. This event will include a story time, firefighter gear try-on and much more. Children and families will learn about fire safety in public buildings and participate in a mock evacuation of the library.

When: 4pm on Wednesday, October 7

Where: West Perth Public Library

Halloween Stories and Craft

Ages 3+ and caregiver, drop-in

Celebrate Halloween with fun stories and a craft! Children ages 3 and up are invited to listen, create and enjoy some Halloween fun. Costumes are welcome!

When: 10:30-11:30am on Friday, October 30

Where: West Perth Public Library - Program room and picture book area

Pumpkin Carving at the Animal Barn

All ages - children must be accompanied by an adult

Have fun and get messy with the animals of the Lions Club Animal Barn. Come and carve pumpkins just in time for Hallowe'en. Pumpkins and tools provided. 

When: 11am on Saturday, October 31
