Irish Music at the Library
All ages, drop-in
Join local musicians for a celebration of Irish music, live in the library. This is a FREE family event.

Bat Lab on Location
Ages 10+ recommended due to the educational portion. Younger bat enthusiasts are welcome.
Meet with the Research team from McMaster University's Bat Lab! Learn about the science of bats, current research about them, and then meet the bats up close.
Please note: members of the public will be able to see the bats but not handle them.
When: 6-7:30pm on Wednesday, March 18

Ages 7-12 + caregiver, drop-in
We are opening the closets to take out our special STEAM kits. Join us for circuits, bracelet making, LEGO, coding and more! This self-directed program will allow older children to experiment and learn together.

A drop-in, all-ages family program featuring I Spy activity sheets, seek-and-find books, and a fun scavenger hunt. Come explore, solve clues and enjoy a playful search adventure together!

LEGO Lounge
All ages, drop-in
Build, imagine and create! Drop in for our all-ages LEGO Lounge, where families and friends can design anything from simple structures to epic masterpieces. We provide the bricks - you bring the ideas.

Paws 4 Stories
Ages 6-10
The Paws 4 Stories program is a one-on-one reading program where young readers practice their skills while reading to a Therapy Dog from St. John Ambulance.
This program has a limited space. Registration will be absolutely required. Youth will register for a 15-minute window to meet with the Therapy Dog.

- April 30
The following time slots will be available:
- 6 - 6:15pm
- 6:15-6:30pm
- 6:30-6:45pm
Youth can sign up for one of the twelve sessions available.

Sensational Slime
Ages 6-12
A wildly gooey, hands-on slime lab where kids ages 6-12 mix, stretch and experiment their way to the ultimate ooze!
When: 11am - noon on Saturday, April 18

Floral Arranging 101
Adults and teens 14+
Learn the basics of floral design from local amateur designer Linda Poupard. Using silk florals and greens, build a bouquet to get ready for spring OR create a gift for Mom for Mother's Day.
When: 11am-1pm on Saturday, April 25
Where: Municipal Office - Community Room
Fee: $10 per person for florals
Important - extra to bring: Please bring your own medium-sized vase
