Senior Book Chat
Open to adults 55+, drop-in
Local seniors are encouraged to meet at the Ritz Manor Community Room. Participants and library program staff will share lively discussion about recent books and enjoy social time.

Rural School Stories
Adults, drop-in
Library staff will share stories about Rural One-Room School experiences. Participants will be encouraged to share their personal stories in this interactive program. This is a Perth County Reads program.
When: 2-3pm on Friday, September 26

The Past in the Present:
Archaeology in Ontario
Ages 16 and up, drop-in
This talk introduces you to archaeology, an approach to studying the past in the present, and provides a broad overview of what we know about Ontario's past and how we know it. The talk will also cover how West Perth fits into the broader story of Ontario's past and the history that lies just outside your door. A presentation by Dr. Chris Kerns.
When: 2-3pm on Saturday, October 4

Mahjong Meet Up
For adults
This popular activity has returned! Join in this lively group as you learn and play together.
When: 1pm on Tuesdays. (on hiatus July and August)
Or drop in and play in groups any time the library is open. Ask for use of the tiles at the desk.

Senior Fitness
Canadian Centre of Activity and Aging-trained instructors will lead safe and effective exercise classes for older adults in our community. In collaboration with Mitchell and Area Community Outreach and the Municipality of West Perth.
When: on hiatus for the summer - returns September 9th until December 16th
Where: West Perth Community Centre
What to bring: Running shoes, water bottle; first-timers will need to fill out a form upon arrival
**Please note that Mitchell and Area Community Outreach continues their classes Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:30-10:30am at Upper Thames Missionary Church throughout the summer.
Crafters' Circle
Crafters' Circle is a program for adults and teens. The group will meet at the Library to work on personal crafting projects and create community connections. It's a great way for people who are new to the community or for anyone who is feeling isolated to connect with others.
